The Trouble With Blogging
January 10th, 2010
Since starting this blog on New Years Day I feel so much pressure. I’m not a writer by nature and I have trouble coming up with ideas to write about. I know that if my blog is not updated regularly, any readers I have will get bored and possibly leave for good
One thing I would like to achieve with this blog is to be able to think outside the square and train my brain to take different topics and write about them. Seeing articles and stories in the news which are of interest would be a good way to start conversations on the blog, but putting such things into my own words is something I need to practice more.
Even things that happen in day to day family life seem uninteresting and not worth sharing, but maybe that’s a mind set I have and once I get used to it, and possibly even get a few comments, it will get easier.
So we’ll see how it all goes and hopefully you’ll see more posts here more regularly.

The good thing about blogging is that you can write whenever you feel the need to- there’s no pressure. Sometimes weeks go past between my blogs, only because I either can’t be bothered, or don’t have anything substantial to say. Don’t think your followers will leave, just remember to remind them when you put up a new post. They will read it, no matter how long it was since your last!
So there you go, just write when you have something to say, and let people know about it when you do.
Thanks for your encouraging words Kristi. I guess what yo say is right….if people know about your updates they will read…..that’s the good thing about subscribing and Facebook.
