It’s been several months since my last blog and many things have happened.

I was studying part time with Open Universities Australia doing a course on Internet studies, but due to a number of circumstances, have withdrawn from these studies and have returned to full time work with Network Couriers.

Jo and I have also moved house, AGAIN. The owners wanted to renovate and sell the house, so we had to move out; but we have moved into another place in the next suburb down, where we’ll be for the next 12 months at least.

One of the problems that I’ve always had with blogging, has been finding things to write about. I listen to allot of talk-back radio, in particular the ABC Perth, which has many interesting conversations, and obviously deals with daily news and issues; so I’m going to try and talk about such things on my blog; I hope you, the reader will join the conversations as well.

My Facebook and Twitter pages are also linked to the blog, so you can join me there if you haven’t already.

I’ll talk to you again soon.

To all my faithful readers out there, as few as you may be; I’ve changed the settings for all comments.

At the moment as I don’t get the chance to post & check comments on a regular basis, it gets difficult to monitor the comments that are coming in. Obviously I don’t want spam appearing on my blog, and for that reason have had the comments set to moderation approval which is not working to well as sometimes the comments sit in the moderation queue for days at a time until I’m able to check and approve them.

So the new system will be like this; to post a comment you need to register with this blog and then whenever you leave a comment it will appear straight away. I know it’s a pain this way, but until I can get on more regularly, it’s my best option. I know you will understand.

So please take a few minutes now to register and then that will be it. if anyone has any other better suggestions, I’m open to anything.

Thanks in advance.

I haven’t blogged for a while, but there has been allot happening.

My job has been busy over the past few weeks as I get back into it again & learn my new run; there have been times where I have wondered whether it’s all worth it, but am starting to settle into it and become more happy, although it does make me very tired.

We are still staying with my sister and brother-in-law with their family while we look for our own place; we have looked at several properties, but as yet nothing has succeeded; we know God has the right place at the right time.

Our stuff is still sitting in storage until we can secure permanent residence, so with the weather starting to cool, especially overnight, I am running out of warm clothing. We also have little Chlo’s 3rd birthday coming next week and we have a B.I.K.E (sssshhhhhh don’t tell her) in storage which at this point we cannot get to, so there may have to be something else for her birthday.

Anyway, I’ll stop rambling. Life seems to be busy especially with a house full of people (14 of us at present), but I’ll try & blog more regularly.

Since starting this blog on New Years Day I feel so much pressure. I’m not a writer by nature and I have trouble coming up with ideas to write about. I know that if my blog is not updated regularly, any readers I have will get bored and possibly leave for good

One thing I would like to achieve with this blog is to be able to think outside the square and train my brain to take different topics and write about them. Seeing articles and stories in the news which are of interest would be a good way to start conversations on the blog, but putting such things into my own words is something I need to practice more.

Even things that happen in day to day family life seem uninteresting and not worth sharing, but maybe that’s a mind set I have and once I get used to it, and possibly even get a few comments, it will get easier.

So we’ll see how it all goes and hopefully you’ll see more posts here more regularly.
